I had such a wonderful experience here! The guides were funny and friendly, and seem to genuinely love what they do. They ask your riding experience to match you with a horse that will be the best fit for you. Our guides explained everything and took breaks to let us know when changes in the trail were coming (uphill, downhill, etc.). The views were beautiful and it was very relaxing. We stopped for a photo at the top and our guides were very intentional about capturing the memories made. It was incredibly affordable at $60 for an hour and 15 minutes. I loved that our guide reminded us to let our horses choose their own paths throughout the trail. We all stayed together but I didn’t feel like I had to worry if my horse chose one side of the trail over the other. I will be back again and again. I live in the area and can’t wait to return for my next trail ride. I would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Everyone treated you as family. Took care of us from the moment we pulled up until we left. There were swings for the kids to pass time before a trail ride, then a tractor ride to take you to the stables. Keith, Jonah, Jessica and Ester were all some of the nicest people you would come across. Jonah even ensured my daughter had a great time as we waited for my son and mother to complete their trail ride.

I highly recommend this business for your horse back riding experience. The staff takes the time to match you with the best horse for you based on your experience and tells you a little about the personality of each horse. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the whole ride. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our trip here saturday (10/23/21). The trails are great and the horses are beautiful and well cared for. We will definitely be making another visit in the near future. Thanks again!!

This place is literally awesome! I loved everyone and i think all the guides are hilarious. I had some very nice conversations with Jessica, and Jonah and I got along really well too. My cousin and I went together and we loved them so much that we went back a second time before our vacation was over. The workers get along with each other very well and were constantly joking around with each other, which was pleasant, and they’re always ready to help if you have any questions. I rode Chiquita and my cousin rode Honor and they even gave us the option of riding them again the second time when we came back! Definitely a place you want to go if you have kids a little older that have interest in riding horses. I noticed that Jonah did his best to cheer up any kids that got upset along the way. And the three dogs who walked the trails with the horses were completely amazing, even Jessica’s dog got on her horse with her in the beginning. We had so much fun and definitely plan on paying another visit! Thank you guys so much!

Very authentic…true trail riding in the mountains. This was our family’s first ever time on horses. Cannot say enough good about the folks here. It was our first ride for our young son, and quite muddy conditions, and I felt he might need a lead…our guide (Allie) assured me she would take care of him and that she did! He rode on his own and loved it! She encouraged him and instructed him all along the way. Steve was also a great guide, always pausing and assuring everyone was doing well. Our teenager told us it was the highlight of our trip to Boone this year!!

Amanda and Glen were absolutely lovely people and the horses are beautiful! The trail was relaxing and beautiful! Absolutely loved every minute of it. They made the little guys feel so at easy. They explained everything so clearly. Plus loved their humor. Definitely need to stop by and see them.

We had a group of 8, including 2 children aged 6 and 8 years old. Five of us, including the kids, had no previous riding experience. The trip was great. One of the guides kept a very close watch on the youngest one but it went very well. The trail was steep at times but the horses knew what to do and the guides did a great job of putting the right hose with the right person. Well done!

Our Boy Scout Troop recently visited to Dutch creek Trails. The staff was awesome! Our group, ranging from ages 11 to adult, was treated with the utmost respect and made to feel at home. Every boy and scout leader left the property with a smile on their face.
This is a great facility. You actually ascend and descend the mountainside on a trail, not simply walk along a what could only be described as a road. Dutch Creek Trails provides a horseback riding experience that allows you to be a “cowboy” for a little while. Yes parts of the trail are steep but the horses are well trained and can handle the terrain. Many of our kids were first time riders and they were instructed how to position their bodies in the saddle all along the trail.

I cannot say enough great things about this place. My daughter had a fantastic time! They are very professional, caring, relaxing, and a fantastic group of people! My daughter had experience riding with her 4H group, but has severe anxiety. They put her right at ease riding in the mountains! It’s an absolutely gorgeous place to ride. This is the place to do it, even if you have never ridden before. Just know it will feel like you are riding out to the ends of the earth! Lol!
